Recently, Europeans have begun to notice that something unusual is happening with democracy in their countries. The population votes according to its preferences, increasingly supporting various populists, primarily the right, but some authority in the state immediately harshly reins in the winners, subjects them to repression, denigrates them and forcibly removes them from power. We see this in France with Macron and Marine Le Pen's party, in Austriawith the Freedom Party, in Germany with the Alternative for Germany and Sahra Wagenknecht's party , in Holland with Geert Wilders, and so on. They win democratic elections, but are then removed from power. 
Sound familiar? Yes, it is very reminiscent of Turkey and the Kemalist military. So we are dealing with a deep state in Europe too .
