Billion One billion is equivalent to 1000 million
Trillion a million million (1,000,000,000,000)

If someone claimed they spent 150 billion a year on immigration and did so for 10 years
that totals to one trillion five hundred billion
and

Spending one trillion five hundred billion is a good deal.

You are just citing this stupid poem as if it must be our ethical guidance in some way. Why?

I don't want to live in a country of poor huddled masses. I would prefer to live in a country of free white men of good character.

What makes this random jew some moral authority over my preference? Just because the poem is well known? The only reason it is well known is because jews have a lot of money to promote their bad ideas. Same with the concept of 'melting pot' from israel zangwell.

I reject jews as a moral authority and I am not impressed with their purchased fame or their money.

We needed some folks at the time to help fill up some empty places in North America.
We're full. That stupid poem needed to retire decades ago.

I happen to agree with the posters that push for immigrants getting into the country.
At least vet the **** **** out of contention. THAT we don't do anymore.
It **** up the whole reason for actually wanting someone to enter.

We aren't that desperate for warm bodies that any fence-hopper is worth being here.
But we need them in general to keep the population up. Lots of countries are in trouble that way.
 

250 years ago we need immigrants. We don't need them anymore. Close the border and put up a sign, Camp ground full.
