Federal charges go away. States cannot put him in jail for 4 years. By then he will be 82, Demonrats will probably never see him behind bars. Damn...this is a rough 24 hours for them.

Smith will probably be fired by the end of the day on January 20. And a new AG can order things stop...US Attorneys work for the AG.
You also forget that POTUS is complete pardon authority.
