You can tell because Hillary was (genuinely) angry/upset at her loss, while Kamala displays zero emotion whatsoever. Her handlers already told her the outcome.
No different than Dukakis, Bob Dole, etc.
Now that I think about it, there may even be a possibility that the vast majority of the elections since (((1913))) had a pre-determined outcome. Whether the candidates themselves know is up for debate.
What this means is we can expect another Democratic "insurgent"/popular candidate like FDR in the 2030s.
