yes it is.....I think Trump will give this heavy consideration....it's either that or gut the department, it's people, it's policies and it's size.....maybe 10% of the size of what it is now

I think he is considering moving all Departments out of DC to break up the politically lopsided  Beauracracy ...
Which would be a good start ...

Not a bad idea.  I mean the country made it all the way to 1980 without a cabinet level department of education.  And education has gone down hill ever since.

Dept of Education, ATF, EPA and many others need to be severely cut back or eliminated.

That was the beginning of the end...

What they are most likely going to do is the same thing the military and major businesses are doing....Palantir can run government with only a fraction of the people they have now...do it more efficiently, with greater accuracy and at a fraction of the cost.

The unios are progressive PAC....they don't care about the teachers or the kids....unions are solely there to push progressivism

Yes  it can ...
but the danger of placing Palantir in that role would be the end of personal accountability because the Algorithm will be what will always be blamed instead of the Party, Beauracrat, or Politician ...
just saying....

I saw the OP title and instantly thought "Why not?"

So, I guess I'm of the same mind about many things in government these days:

              Justify your existence.

https://youtu.be/StIcRH_e6zQ?si=Zu5CW6epcVpmc3fS

This notion could be applied to many laws and regulations as well as departments and bureaucrats.

Please seat yourself.

It's their Achilles heel....
You bust the unions ...you bust progressivism ...

Economics and common sense certainly aren't yours!

Ignorant Dems like you NEVER think there's a problem that can't be solved simply by throwing more billions of dollars at it!
The Dept. of Education and the EPA are two prime examples of massive failure that should be shut down immediately when Trump takes office.

nothing is perfect but taking fairness out of the hands of humans would be an improvement....we continually see what "power to the people" results in....power to new or different people but always the exact same problems no matter who's in charge....

just pick your flavor......power corrupts....absolute power corrupts absolutely
