Do you know how easy it is to get around Russia if you don’t have a car?
Lots of E European countries to visit next year
Hopefully they have functioning public transport unlike a certain country we are familiar with…

Russia's public transportation is some of the best in the world.
Russia cities are built as walking cities with public transportation
in the form of buses, trolleys, and the gorgeous metros - clean and crime free.

Yup, its true.Lenin as well.
St. Pete and Moscow are more clean, safe, and beautiful
than any big cities in the West. It is not even close.
This is why they were able to solely host the 2018 World Cup in only Russian cities.
Large public areas, large walking area cities with an abundance of public transportation option.
Whereas in 2026, the World Cup will be shared between the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Why? Because US cities are not built for such pedestrian traffic with public transportation.

I don't pay attention to soccer but between the US, Canada, and Mexico...AFAIK the public transportation in all 3 countries is ****. I've been to Canada before and it's a slight step up from the states, but nothing noteworthy. My friend who lives in Vancouver has to commute 45 min for a small # of miles (< 8) because the bus schedule is so lousy.Sumela » 13 Nov 2024, 1:51 pm » wrote: ↑
