This conflict was never really about The Ukraine.

It is driven by a multi generational loathing of Russia by a certain demographic currently residing in the halls of western power.
 It appears to be some sort of "revenge fantasy".

We are now rushing weapons to Ukraine and gave them permission use our missles for deep strikes into Russian territorry but that does not negate Ukraines manpower shortages.

While both sides have sustained massive casulties Ukraine is a nation of 40 million people while Russia is much bigger with a 150 million people to replenish their ranks.

I dont think Moscow cares so much what Trump thinks.

Also Russia is now in a situation where the War has become the basis of their entire economy.

End the War the Russia economy goes into a complete collapse like the 1990s after the folding of the former Soviet Union so they have no motivation end this war even if just a war of attrittion along the front lines
