Now, PLEASE, take your **** back to wherever you crawled out of. PERHAPS you would prefer a non-stop stream of BudLight ads??
What ever happened to your belief in the FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM!! As a FYI, yesterday ENDED open enrollment and the ads will likely end with it.

I did that without implying your lack of intellectual capability or integrity.
If you don't quite understand what that phrase means, too bad.
Bottom line: Don't get sick or age. Then it's a moot point.
Ok. Now we're done. Too bad I have to actually explain that, Dangerfield.*Beekeeper » 08 Dec 2024, 8:29 am » wrote: ↑ You really just showed more ignorance.
EVERYONE will get sick AND AGE. Eventually you die. And not from lack of sickness.

I am considering turning it back on. I get perhaps 50 calls per day from spammers - and maybe 5 to 10 spam texts. I've had my phone number since 07.

I've not heard of sears, and I don't travel for medicine, except dentistry.DeezerShoove » 08 Dec 2024, 12:35 am » wrote: ↑ I must be lucky then. The doctors I had (GP) were old farts in Buicks. Married with children that have children.
Because the last old fart retired I now have a woman who had her third kid a few years ago.
Grandpas and moms don't fit your scenario.![]()
But like I said, I don't have the inclination to test fit doctors until I find a match that I like.
Especially if I need a passport to go see him.
I do appreciate the sentiment about treating health versus sickness.
You posted something about a Dr Cabral. I looked up reviews on him.
Besides the usual "He's a quack" **** that I fully ignore there were comments about how expensive his stuff is.
That part is not easy to dismiss.
Ever heard of Dr Al Sears? Another anti-aging dude.
That sucks. You should always have your email accounts linked to one another, so that if you get locked out of one, you can use the other to receive a link to get back in.*GHETTOBLASTER » 08 Dec 2024, 10:09 am » wrote: ↑ I got a new phone number for the same reason and ended up getting locked out of Yahoo E Mail with no way to get back in.
I know too many people that seemed to "take care of themselves" and end up with some **** up disease anyway. So, I can't say I adhere to any strong belief that we can escape the poisons you speak of.Cannonpointer » 08 Dec 2024, 9:22 pm » wrote: ↑ I've not heard of sears, and I don't travel for medicine, except dentistry.
My medicine is my life style. I don't eat poison, so I don't become diseased.
Also, I've sworn off crack whores. Won't even kiss 'em.
I also water fast, and I check my levels through hair analysis and make adjustments as necessary. The body heals itself, if you give it what it needs. Cancer is a pet that demands to be fed.
Since the inception of magic negro care (obama care) the number of doctors has remained relatively the same, but the people in administration have tripled. What does that tell you about the ridiculous increases in medical costs? It doesn't translate into better healthcare. Health insurance is not the same as healthcare!!!DeezerShoove » 07 Dec 2024, 8:10 am » wrote: ↑ They advertise the **** out of Part C, you know: Medicare Advantage.
Whose "advantage" is the question you have to ask. I have talked with many seniors.
Getting stuck in network providers and always needing a referral for the smallest stuff is time-consuming, confusing, not your choice, etc.
If they have to market Part C so heavily then it says "the product doesn't sell itself". Not so good.
Like being pushed into "coordinated benefits" when buying car insurance.
You may save a couple dollars now, but potential is high you will get **** if you need to use the **** someday.
Devil is in the details. As someone recently posted: ANSTAAFL.
The medical industry has almost as many lawyers as doctors. Very hard and expensive to win with those ****.
Don't spend that 50 dollars a month savings. You may need it for the fine print.

If a doctor seems kind of "off" but that's all I have... yuk.
Gotta go back to the pre-chosen list and find someone else.
Some people don't mind that stupid ****. Hard to believe you don't hear about the same crap I hear about.
Serious question:
Why is it such a hard sell for advantage (Part C)? If it's so wonderful, why the pushiness?
That really seems confusing. You never hear ads to try to "sell" standard medicare.
There's a motivating factor in the mix.
*Beekeeper » 09 Dec 2024, 12:46 pm » wrote: ↑ NO ONE is making you use any network provider. It's called CHOICES!!
I can make mine and you can make yours. When you learn that simple fact that taking away someone ELSE'S choice OF a network because it serves them well isn't call freedom. What you want is to take away the INFORMATION about such choices and that too, isn't freedom of choice but YOUR control of information!! Which is what FASCISTS DO to keep their little playground as the ONLY thing you get.
It's NOT a "hard sell" for anything, but Part C is NOT a government administered program, but one BY PRIVATE ENTERPRISE and that is advertised all the time. WHY is beer such a hard sell, but you see 500 beer commercials on ANY given Sunday NFL afternoon. Same with any OTHER product you want to name. It's called ADVERTISING and something we get in our lives. Don't like it, TURN OFF YOUR TV.
Regular Medicare doesn't have to be "sold" and would REQUIRE a government funded commercial to do so. WHEN CONGRESS APPROPRIATES THE FUNDS, YOU WILL GET THOSE ADS, but the FACT IS, it's advertised when you pay those taxes. Part C offers MORE than traditional Medicare and MANY eligible haven't even checked out what it offers. They KNOW what Part A and B offer already, so giving them a CHOICE is all that is being done here. Get the information, compare what you have NOW, and you decide for YOURSELF which works best for YOU!!
I can tell you that I know a couple that had Trad Medicare and a supplement and drug plan. They had somewhat heard of Part C Medicare Advantage. They were paying OVER $750 a month in premiums for the supplements and drug plans. What they HAD heard was the same CRAP you are spewing and didn't even check it out. I explained that what they THOUGHT they knew and had heard was 100% WRONG in every aspect.
So they asked me what I knew about Part C and I said I did. Showed them what several plans offered, showed them that their doctors were in network, that all their drugs were covered AND that their vision, dental, and hearing benefits that THEY HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET were also covered to a large degree. AND at ZERO PREMIUMS vs. $ 750 a month. THAT'S $9,000 a YEAR they aren't paying NOW, their copays come nowhere NEAR that amount, and they have FAR BETTER benefits. Add the dental and vision along they paid last year, it was over $3500 of covered expenses that ALSO would not have paid 100% out of pocket too.
So please, EDUCATE yourself before you spew such hate for something MORE AND MORE SENIORS are using for their healthcare benefits.
First off, you can't just walk into a specialists office and demand care even if you are on Medicare.DeezerShoove » 09 Dec 2024, 11:42 am » wrote: ↑ I have never been happy with ANY network services. Medical, dental, co-op food stores, HOA, etc.

You merely validate what I said, you know.
"I choose a system to limit my choices."
...and you call that a choice.
Then you cannot get out of that "choice" back into the "government program" because the window is closed.
...but a person can ALWAYS get into the Part C Advantage. You can change your mind only in one direction.
I'm merely pointing out that it's leaned heavily toward Part C and a single short window to enroll in Traditional Medicare.
Then, trying to go from UHC to Mutual of Omaha (for example) is a disaster I hear if you don't have near perfect health.
That goes for both Traditional and Advantage according to one of my bitchy old acquaintances.

Second. Are you an agent? If you are not, you are hearing hersay.
The government RARELY runs adds om TV. Medicare has been around since 1965. Advantage plans since 2006. Med Sup companies advertise all the time on TV.
Now that being said, being pushy is the Federal Government running constant ads, emails, robo call, snail mail too PUSH ACA/Obamacare. If it's so good, why are the Feds sp pushy?

It's basically a mandated government plan. Why would you not love it? The government sets the coverages. The insurance companies just administer it. ALL ACA plans cover the same things.DeezerShoove » 09 Dec 2024, 1:43 pm » wrote: ↑ Bammycare completely sucks.

When my "choice" is ALSO part of the network, then I have the same choice. I do believe that something like 85% of ALL health care providers belong to ALL networks and nearly 100% belong to at least 5. Most are far more than that.
And as a FYI, anyone that opts into a Part C plan, can OPT OUT from Jan 1 through March 31st of 2025. So, you know nothing and only HATE IT because it's not your choice.
During OPEN ENROLLMENT there are NO "health questions" to change ANY PLAN- Part C or Med Supplements. So you are ALSO ill informed on that case as well. ANY INSURANCE company that sells supplements, MUST participate in the Open Enrollment period or they can't sell them You ONLY have issues possibly if you do a switch OUTSIDE of the Open Enrollment period. You can go from Part C to Trad Medicare during end of year open enrollment and on the Jan to Mar, IF you have Part C, you can go to a different plan or back to Trad Medicare.
So you listen to your "bitchy acquaintances" of listen to FACTS. Seems one you LOSE with.
