The good old US of A run by abuncha "Corrupt" elitists in both parties too.
But we have a tendancy beilive my guy won things will be better but generally get worse.
These are supposed be good times too.
Too much bribery & corporate influence.
We need go back a century or so last time people got really mad votes & smacked them down afew decades or so.

How about housing too but "Elitists" on both sides enriching themselves off our backs.

It's not going. I haven't had time to do anything with that. Also, I found the exact part I was going to replicate on gunbroker for a reasonable price, bought it and that sort of took the wind out of my sails. I still plan on setting up a lathe and milling machine in my workshed someday. Oh, and I did buy a small metal bender - just haven't had time to do crap with it.

Let's go back even 60 years. Did anyone have "medical insurance" 60 years ago? I seriously doubt it. My bet is that everyone 60 years ago paid for their own medical services. Younger I thought I was a "Survivalist" went out in the woods hiked afew hundred miles of Applachian Trail.
Later I lost 25/30 pounds drank some bad water needed "Anti-Biotics" too.
I started out string doing 10 miles per day even had the guide planned out next days camp stop.
Fellow "Hikers" we like ya good people but ya aint gonna make it all the way.
One knew a shuttle service called them got me 2 a Grayhound Bus Station.
