I used to bundle my home and full coverage auto get a deal buy a policy whole year.

Afew years ago almost doubled the price & only sell 6 month terms so ya gotta go back if rates go up.

My Independant Agent says I sell 4 almost a dozen differrent companies & his families rates have shot up too.

He broke it down showed me that I am paying $15/$20 less a month than he is 4 his own.

Aint no shopping around anymore neither they have all doubled rates period too.

Around here their is a Law-firm runs ads says you faithfully pay your premium rates on-time but when ya file a claim the Insurance Agency gives ya the run-around.

Call Us we will make sure they pay & "plus"

No real moving violations only equiptment & afew parking tickets.

Rate all around have shot way up all around.

No more just write a check whole year neither only 6 months policies then nothimg raise that $50/100 on ya .

Years ago I met an "Independant" Agent $ells 4 all of em.

He likes ya 2 "Re-New" get his cut but also understands Rates jumped way higher afew years & still happy get ya buisness with him.

Also once accident I called him he did the ground work on phone sat on hold half the day got "Settlement" free rental & fixed my car just needed pay $500 bucks deductible.

And you're right. Rates went up.

Our rates have gone up as well, and it sucks.  But hopefully you understand your rate isn't only based on your driving record.

MY RATES went DOWN about $100/6 months.

With one of the "on the avoid list". Didn't change coverages either.

Pays to drive like you are supposed to, huh??

Many years ago a buddy bitched to his agent because his auto premium jumped substantially without any accidents or violations. The agent explained it was because of hurricane Bob...my buddy replied, "but we're in MN!"
