Its purely an issue with retirement/benefits. If they resign then that is untouched. Fired... not quite so simple

Dude was literally the biggest seller of the 'dossier' - for four years he was on TV saying 'we got him now" while knowing full well he was lying each and every time.

Knowingly lying on camera like that, over and over about Trump.

Anyone defending this POS is no better than he is.

HA!!  THEY might be retiring in FEDERAL PRISON before it's all said and done...

Don't get me wrong... I don't want to see innocent people got to JAIL... BUT, Wray... after his FBI was given free access by Donald Trump (who WAS the PRESIDENT of the United States and WAS AUTHORIZED to take and declassify documents at his discretion)... to look at & review records held at Mira Lago (on a very secure property, with secret service on premises FULL TIME), & offered to give them whatever records they wanted, HE (Christopher Wray), THEN authorized the FBI to FORCIBLY enter Mira Lago as if it was a drug bust, GUNS DRAWN and in FULL riot gear, to FORCIBLY TAKE the records... AND THEN indict and prosecute Donald Trump for STEALING classified documents...

WHEN Hillary Clinton (as ONLY 1st lady) had ILLEGALLY TAKEN:  1)  30,000 classified e-mails (which she then deleted),  2)  Multiple classified phones and devices (which she then bleach bit'd and Destroyed),  3)  Multiple classified servers which she help in her unsecured office and home, and the FBI DID NOTHING... and

When Joe Biden (as ONLY Vice President) had stoles  BOXES of classified documents, that he kept in his Garage and in the trunk of his corvette... was NEVER questioned about them, and and the FBI DID NOTHING !!

Chuck Grassley, one of the most level headed, and even keeled Senators in Washington... penned an 11 page SCATHING letter on Christopher Wray... accusing him (and JUSTIFIABLY so) of dozens of WRONG, and in many instances CRIMINAL, decisions. It was immediately AFTER this letter was released that Wray saw the handwriting ong the wall...

RETIREMENT? I think he'll have a LONG wait before he'll be able to RETIRE !!

Wray doesn't even realize how **** up his statement is in today's climate.

This says it all:

“It should go without saying, but I’ll say it anyway — this is not easy for me,” Wray said.
“I love this place, I love our mission, and I love our people —
but my focus is, and always has been, on us and doing what’s right for the FBI.”

- Mishandling of sexual harassment claims made by the FBI’s female employees !

- Improper vetting of Afghan evacuees, who subsequently planned attacks in, and on America !

- FBI’s failure to adequately investigate Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of highly classified information when she was Secretary of State, another example of federal law enforcement double standards.
