In a recent blog, we discussed the burden of proof in a criminal case, which is proving guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The burden is lower in civil cases, such as when someone sues someone else.

 Unlike in criminal cases, where the government alleges that someone (a defendant) committed a crime, civil cases allow a person or entity to bring a lawsuit against another person or entity. The person starting the lawsuit is referred to as the plaintiff, while the person being sued is called the defendant. Typically, when a plaintiff sues a defendant, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant did something unlawful, whether it was acting negligently, breaching a contract, or violating a person’s constitutional rights.

I don't even know what your stand./argument is on this.  I am saying the burden of proof is much lower in a civil case.  You said that I was playing word games.  What say you.....

That the burden of proof is lower, doesn't mean there is no burden of proof. In the case of Civil proceedings, that burden is "the preponderance of the EVIDENCE".

That the burden of proof is lower, doesn't mean there is no burden of proof. In the case of Civil proceedings, that burden is "the preponderance of the EVIDENCE".

It has always been about the Jury Finding and you lack of integrity to admit the Jury did not find him guilty of rape.

This is what you always do when you lose.  You reframe it into something else that fits your mistake.

Now, unless you got something that shows that the Jury filed paperwork where they said the preponderance of evidence showed he raped her, we are done. Take your L and STFU.
