Sure they do, DICKSUCKY, but the SIMPLE FACT IS, the PROSECUTION does NOT get to make the choice, the DEFENDANT DOES. ONLY the defendant can request a bench trial and take their shot with ONLY a judge deciding. They are THEN waiving their rights under the 6th Amendment and MUST do so IN WRITING.
