Definitively NOT worth reading.
For ONCE you might have something worth reading.Squatchman » 25 Dec 2024, 9:47 am » wrote: ↑ You had to read it to cross it out.
Thanks for acknowledging you don't know ****.

Laws that limit things like gun ownership address legal ownership. Is it your position that nobody in the US with a felony on their record owns a firearm? Simple question. Many, many things that are illegal still happen because they are, for all practical purposes, unenforceable in the normal course of life. They simply add another crime someone is charged with when arrested for a different offense. It is much different when you are trying to change the authority of the President. One branch of the government cannot reduce the authority of another branch without a constitutional amendment. It would be exactly the same as the President signing an EO removing the oversight power of the legislative branch or eliminating the requirement of the Senate to confirm Presidential appointments.
So tell us, in your delusional world, when will the effort to get SCOTUS to overturn the commutations start? The thread title says quickly. Will it start on 1/20? Maybe sometime in February? Will it be at the start of the next fiscal year? I have this thread bookmarked. I want to be able to remind you periodically how delusional you are.
The first issue in any court case is standing. To put a matter before a court of competent jurisdiction - in this case, the SCOTUS, - a complainant must have standing. Who has standing to sue for the nullification of pardons? How is that standing established?ConsRule » 24 Dec 2024, 7:07 pm » wrote: ↑ Show me where the Constitution gives any person or court the authority to reverse a commutation or pardon (link to Constitution below).

The Constitution give the President plenary authority when it comes to those.
Article II, Section 2
"...and he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment. "
Since nobody has tried to invoke the 25th related to Biden, his authority cannot be limited or removed. Remember, state and/or federal law cannot change the Constitution.
Some faceless bureaucrat using "he's a forgetful old man" as an excuse for not trying him (and being murdered the same week) is not the same thing as a finding of incompetence in a court of record.*Beekeeper » 24 Dec 2024, 9:47 pm » wrote: ↑ Was Biden found to e bMENTALLY INCOMPETENT to be tried in a court of law for his STOLEN CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS CASE?? !! Case now CLOSED and the fact remains, NO MENTALLY INCOMPETENT PERSON can LEGALLY execute ANY DOCUMENT!! PERIOD!! Constitutional "authority" of powers or not!!
Hang on to your ***, Ethel - and welcome to the world of arguing with beek eeper.ConsRule » 25 Dec 2024, 2:09 am » wrote: ↑ No, he wasn't. Show me where he was found mentally incompetent. The special prosecutor felt “at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Further, “it would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him—by then a former president well into his eighties—of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”
For a person, legally, to be found mentally incompetent, they must be found to lack the mental capacity required to participate in legal proceedings. That has not happened. Without that, and lacking any effort to remove him under the 25th because he is unable to execute the duties of his office, you are living in a fantasy world. The commutations are legal and no person of court can do a damn thing about them.
You sussed that out quickly. Well done.
Both consrule and I would LOVE to see Biden's pardons negated.*Beekeeper » 25 Dec 2024, 11:53 am » wrote: ↑ Now you are grasping. As you seem to ALWAYS do.
The simple fact is, the Constitution is NOT as immutable as you want to claim it is. And the fact is, the pardon powers have NEVER been tested and are likley to be this time. Seeing how there are NUMBEROUS people who have ALREADY said that your boy Biden has been MENTALLY INCOMPETENT for the entire 4 years he's been President. Do you think something changed when he signed, IF HE INDEED DID THE SIGNING, or those pardons/commutations?? Trust me, there are more ways to "sign" a document than with a PEN and make it appear it was the actual signature of someone. But you wouldn't know that now would you??
Please, run along, sit and watch, and see what happens. You want to dismiss the possibility and the possibility is, Biden's MASSIVE pardon spree is likely to be challenged in more ways than you want to imagine.

But we have resigned ourselves to living in the world of reality.
Say hi to the butterflies for us...
They're the plaintiffs.

On the legal record, Biden is perfectly competent - WHATEVER his condition in the real world.
But the smart people know that I did not tell any such lie.*Beekeeper » 25 Dec 2024, 5:53 pm » wrote: ↑

I can assure you that he sees absolutely no parallels between himself and his left wing doppelganger.ConsRule » 25 Dec 2024, 6:03 pm » wrote: ↑ You didn't answer a single question...your another BV. You keep throwing out conspiracy theories but no proof, again like BV...he must be your boy.
No one remembers the name of the investigator who said he would successfully beat prosecution through feigning incompetence. And that IS what the investigator said. Even the OP's source of the "biden is incompetent" argument did not precisely say that biden was incompetent. Only that he could convince a jury of it. This is on TOP of the fact that the unremembered source had no qualification to make such a finding.*GHETTOBLASTER » 25 Dec 2024, 6:13 pm » wrote: ↑ It looks like Biden was the beneficiary of very careful wording to describe his mental status.
They went as far as they could to declare that he was incompetent without actually saying point blank that he is incompetent.

You did not answer the when question. You started the thread and wrote the title. It contains the word "quickly". Either you have insight or are simply making **** up. Which is it?*Beekeeper » 25 Dec 2024, 7:14 pm » wrote: ↑ Oh I answered the question alright, it's that YOU didn't like the answer. JUST LIKE YOUR BOY BV!!
Now, YOU never answered one either- is the CONSTITUTION TOTALLY IMMUTABLE and ABSOLUTE?? Because I gave you a GREAT example of where it's NOT and the SCOTUS has upheld multiple laws that RESTRICT the Constitution's "shall not be infringed" language.
OBVIOUSLY you didn't like that part since it destroys YOUR argument that the Pardon power is untouchable to challenge. So which is it?? Is the Constitution immutable and ABSOLUTE and untouchable or has it been PROVEN that it isn't totally "gospel law" that can never be touched??
Sucks, huh??
I think the only way a Democrat Party President could ever be declared incompetent is if he dropped his pants on camera during a State of the Union address and started jacking off..while laughing hysterically........Cannonpointer » 25 Dec 2024, 6:41 pm » wrote: ↑ No one remembers the name of the investigator who said he would successfully beat prosecution through feigning incompetence. Biden's competence, as a matter of law, is no different than yours or mine.
