"We're going to REFORM the tax code" = we're going to grant a gazillion loopholes to oligarchs while incrementally raising property taxes, sales taxes, and other middle class (wage slave) taxes while pretending a $2K tax credit will offset all these increases

"We're going to OVERHAUL the immigration system" = we're going to increase the # of (non-white) immigrants drastically and you can't do anything about it     

"We're going to FIX our healthcare system" = we're going to allow companies like UNH to increase deductibles and deny even more claims so their stock prices go up by more than 800% since 2009

"We're going to CHANGE our economy to be greener / more environmentally friendly" = we're going to grant corps like Tesla "carbon credits" even though EVs are damaging to the environment (Due to all that mining, processing, and transportation of auto parts) and put a solar panel on everyone's house even though statistically that reduces net carbon emissions by maybe 1.5% 

"We're going to MODERNIZE our higher education system" = we'll grant you peons access to student loans that can't be discharged in bankruptcy
