Can this be as simple as the U.S. walking away from an embarrassingly inept administration's actions?
I think there would be nothing but global kudos for Trump saying "Enough of this ****!"
Tom Homan said that and people didn't take it wrong.
EU, NATO, are hopefully getting whispers in the hallways about being failures.

The suboibs (Coleman Young speak) want a buffer from Mutha Detroit.

East Detroit changed their name to East Pointe 20-30 years ago. Distanced without moving.

Suburbs are a funny thing. They serve the mothership by providing talent. Talent that refuses to live in the ****. But they also suck a lot of wealth from the mothership. They get all of the benefits of a major city - airport, seaport, stadium, philharmonic, world class entertainment and dining, mass transit - all at no cost to themselves. Their own towns are high dollar, so they can afford the best schools, and because their towns are denigrified, they don't have to spend much on police. So all the taxes can go to schools and parks.
It's inherently inequitable, and if the suburbs had to pay their fair share, the cities might - I stress might - not be such **** holes.
That said, if the cities had not gone **** in the first place, there might not be suburbs. The beautiful people might - I stress might - have stayed.
I go around and around on this topic in my mind. It's a riddle to me, what I might do if I were king of the world.
After I got rid of the bad elements, I mean. As king, I'd be a real "crimes against humanity" kind of despot.

I have experienced a change of heart many times in passing judgement on situations and other people.
The further you dig into details, the more you risk changing your mind.

Well, obviously the city around which the suburbs grew up.
But we're trying to decide the conditions after the fact. I believe they're both the cause of each other.

Let the city get **** because I can escape after the workday. City dwellers were hard and get harder.
