No, that's not me. It was an Islamist doing Islamist ****. 

There are some folks here who want to berate Blacks for their race.  I'm not one of them.  Some black people work hard at their jobs and at having a respectable family - I have no inclination to denigrate such people. 

You want to know what bothers me the most?  On the very rare occasions when some stupid white guy murders a bunch of people with a gun, knowing that Democrats are waiting with baited breath to pounce on our gun rights over this.  Still, its hard not to see "race" when some murdering asshole kills a bunch of innocent people.  Don't tell me you don't see "race" when you see this guy.....

Just stating the facts but he was born in Beaumont, TX and was a US citizen. As to how he became radicalized, the details are incomplete.

"How he became radicalized."  I do not subscribe to the neutrality of this phrase.  Do you not see the inherent bias in it? 

The phrase, one so often used by the media, was created using the passive voice.  Passive, as if some outside force made him the monster he is today.  NO!  There is another more likely possibility.  This **** was likely born a monster - or became one on his own.  He sought out ideologies which would validate his insatiable desire to murder people and gain fame for it. 

If he was kidnapped, tortured and brainwashed, then I might agree that "he became radicalized".  But, in the absence of such, he's just an F-ing Islamist monster.

Ok, maybe I should have said it differently. Try to keep my posts short and succinct. Maybe a better way to say is this is, "What factors contributed to him reaching the tipping point". What led him to actually act on these terrible desires/thoughts and not just sit and stew about it? I have no insider knowledge but it would seem as if he would have been on some sort of watchlist of the CIA, FBI, Homeland Security, etc.

Ok, I understand what you are asking.  That's a good question.  Were there outside directives, influences, coordination?  Does he frequent a particular mosque? I get the feeling that this brand of terrorist does not use the internet to plan and coordinate attacks.  I tend to think these cells are put together through groups that frequent particular mosques.  Sort of like:

Terrorist Recruiter:  "Hello friend, what did you think of Imam's khutba?  I felt powerful anger at American infidels, their debauchery boils my blood!"
Abdul "Salam my Brother, yes I was powerfully inspired"
Terrorist Recruiter: "I have not seen you at Muslim ChillOut, why not friend?"
Abdul "I am not familiar - Imam hasn't mentioned it and never saw it online"
Terrorist Recruiter: "We keep a low profile.  We are having a Muslim ChillOut event tomorrow evening, I invite you to come - here is my card with the address.  Show this to no one, you understand.  Present this card to Jamalia who will be at the door and follow his directions.
