So, should Trump be paid based on performance?  Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, gets paid $770.5 million.  The owners of Apple are glad to pay him that amount, because he keeps the company's value going up.  While Musk is cumulatively the highest paid CEO, this is from multiple companies, so not a fair comparison. Jensen Huang is next at $561 million (IMHO, he does a much better job than Cook)

If Trump gets his entire election agenda accomplished in 4 years, should we, the tax payers, pay him $770,000,000?  I say "yes".

You wouldn't pay him a top CEO salary for his 4 years, if he accomplished what he set out to?

My guess is that he lost perhaps $1M in legal fees defending all of these lawfare cases. Maybe a little more, but somewhere in that range.
