Joy Reid sparks fury with 'billionaire apartheid' wildfire rant

MSNBC's Joy Reid  claims the 'billionaire right' is using the devastating LA fires to create apartheid in California. The ReidOut star used her opening monologue on Monday night to wildly claim that wealthy conservatives are trying to take over the Golden State.
She claimed that billionaires will use the massive wildfires - which have killed at least 24 people and destroyed more than 12,000 buildings - to push out minorities. 'The people losing the most in Los Angeles County aren't the rich, faded celebrities,' Reid said.
'It's the middle-class homeowners in places like Altadena, where a historic and stable black neighborhood has been all but wiped off the map.' She claimed the 'billionaire right' will buy the burned-down proprieties and prevent minorities from moving into them to create an 'apartheid state'.
While the vulture capitalists are already circling, hoping to snap up the burned-up properties for pennies on the dollar so they can hedge fund them into yet another batch of billionaire-owned, overpriced rentals,' Reid said. 'They can drive out the brown people and the black and people or just sink them into the same apartheid they’ve created in Texas , and they will control enough electoral votes if they control California to never have to worry about another presidential election.'
