I have no idea what life is like in Greenland.Vegas » 22 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ The people want to, but their leaders say no. They repeatedly say "Greenland is not for sale."
Yeah, I don't know either. They only have 56k people.*GHETTOBLASTER » 2 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ I have no idea what life is like in Greenland.
Do they already watch [[[NETFLIX]]], have their own Wiggers, SJWs, Queer Nation, Crips n Bloods, smash and grab *** looters, car jackings, DEI installed leadership, soft on crime liberal female judges, Illegal Alien invasion...?
How corrupted by the [[[JWO SOCIAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT]]] have these people become already...?
This is why all we need is Ellesmere island. Really, its a worthless piece of land too for now. It will take over 100 years of true global warming to make any of that land marginally valuable.*GHETTOBLASTER » 24 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ I think Greenland's main strategic value to us is to get a foot hold there before Russia can.
I think Greenland realizes that the way things sit now, Russia doesn't have any reason to launch missiles at them or to invade them on foot.
If Greenland was to grant us land for a missile base, then that would definitely make them much more vulnerable to getting nuked.
If our interest in Greenland was purely economic....then we should just leave the door wide open to Greenland if they need our help and leave it at that.
Nah, Trump knows how much of a disadvantage we have when China controls 70% of rare earth mineral production.*GHETTOBLASTER » 9 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ I wonder if Trump just woke up one night after dreaming up with this idea on his own....or maybe it's more of a case where his "military advisors" told him that this is the way it is going to be...?

I get it, Johnson/Seward had no clue what Alaska would be worth to the US in 1867 either. So, I agree with you. Only acquire Greenland if it wants to be acquired and for a fair price. Otherwise, walk away and work on other things that are more pressing.
Ellesmere Island is Canadian territory.Vegas » 3 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ What ever happened about all the talk of buying some Canadian territories? Was that just some flippant idea that was thrown around so people can gossip?
There is nothing more pressing strategically than the acquisition of a large supply of rare earth minerals.....Skans » 10 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ This is why all we need is Ellesmere island. It's all about what they think ....

Read it ....
Greenlanders would NEVER allow their precious piece of ice to be mined for rare earth minerals. It's going to be hands off everything to even get them to consider it. Besides, Wyoming has easily accessible rare earth minerals already on government owned land. And, there's hardly any indian reservations in Wyoming to get in the way.Majik » 7 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ There is nothing more pressing strategically than the acquisition of a large supply of rare earth minerals.....
which Greenland could provide...
Without a steady supply Nvidia and other semiconductor companies will **** the bed with-in 5 years ...
as will our tech sector and MIC.....
We should make ourselves less dependent on USING exotic metals then.Majik » 20 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ Nah, Trump knows how much of a disadvantage we have when China controls 70% of rare earth mineral production.
It's about the rare earth minerals because we already have a military base there ....

What if it wasn't money being the transfer for or by Greenland changing alliances from Denmark to USA. Was it loyalists to Denmark saying that it wasn't for sale?Vegas » Today, 2:50 pm » wrote: ↑ It sounds like Greenland gave Trump a hard no on buying it. Life was just fine before we "needed" to have millions of catalytic converters and millions of EV cars with a ton's worth of lithium each.
The catalytic converter has become unnecessary for our cars to run clean.
The CC is there to clean up "freak accidents" that might. get past all of the rest of the automated controls that make our cars run as clean as they do.
They are also highly restrictive...it wastes usable HP to push the exhaust through what looks like a "lava rock" filter media.
If our engines were running dirty it would take less than a week to plug up a converter.
Their government"s corruption is due to poverty ...Vegas » 17 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ If their government is corrupt, then do you think they would try to rig the vote regarding being a part of the US?
Don't know. Don't care either. There are 49 other states with "rare earth minerals", and at least 5 American territories to exploit as well. We should start with Puerto Rico first.Majik » 14 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ Not True...
it's not the Islanders that won't allow the mining ....
It's Denmark and their very strict environmental controls...
as for Wyoming ...
How many metric tons does it claim to have and how long can that sustain American insudstry .....?
Then I can safely assume that if we get Greenland, then Denmark will not be happy.Majik » 5 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ Their government"s corruption is due to poverty ...
poverty created by Denmark's strict environmentalism and foisted upon the shoulders of Greenland's government and people ...
We just need to figure out how to convert CO to carbon and O2, instead of CO2. The carbon can be deposited into a DEF material, and then just blow out clean O2 from the exhaust.*GHETTOBLASTER » 23 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ We should make ourselves less dependent on USING exotic metals then.
