I have never been there. However, people who have say the same thing. That it's a beautiful country with beautiful people and a rich culture. Even though 80% of it is covered in ice caps. 

Given this information, my question is as follows: Once it becomes part of America, how long will it take us to turn it into a ****?

If it ever became part of America, this is what will happen:
1.  Every young person living in Greenland will move to the American continent.
2.  For 10 years there will be tourists visiting Nuuk.  They can buy seal-skin hats and Greenland glacier water at the open air market.  Then, tourism will dry up. 
3.  They will discover some big oil deposit that is easy to drill, and then folks from North Dakota and Alsaska will move there to work for the oil industry.

Denmark made it one already. You are just to much of a old world traditionalist of new order social mentality to recognize it.

I flew over Greenland  on a very rare clear day.
It was such a rare occasion that the pilot let us know that the inflight movie was going to be nothing compared to being able to take in the scenery down below. 
So us passengers voted to skip the movie.
You could  clearly see the RING OF GREEN coastline  that surrounds  vast whiteness. 
From that altitude it was easy to imagine Greenland as one last place on Earth that hasn't been trashed yet.

Why are you creating the issue US is buying Greenland instead of offering them a different sponsor than Denmark. America is offering the population to change leaderships.

Completely different way than Russia offered to Ukraine or Crimea under Obama's presidency.
