U.S. Navy veteran Zachary Young alleged CNN smeared him by implying he illegally profited when helping people flee Afghanistan on the "black market" during the Biden administration's military withdrawal from the country in 2021. Young believes CNN "destroyed his reputation and business" by branding him an illegal profiteer" who exploited "desperate Afghans" during a November 11, 2021, report by Alex Marquardt that first aired on CNN’s "The Lead with Jake Tapper."
The Jury heard the case and decided they AGREED... CNN to pay &5 million in damages !!
MAN O'MAN... the FAKE News is getting less and less profitable EVERY DAY... as "We the People" hold then RESPONSIBLE for their LIES !!

Possibly that much! It's in the punitive damage phase starting next week.

New information since I saw it yesterday. I imagine it was a whopper. 5 Mil from the Jury and who knows how much more they would have awarded, but I can bet it wasn't going to be less than another $50 million.

I hope to find out what the settlement is on the other aspects of the case.
