I didn’t buy the book
I have seen bullet points about it, and they seem to have a lot of merit
the devilish details are yet to be seen
but, what could go wrong with a bunch of religious zealots telling us how we should live our lives?
and how it should be mandated

Climate change, sex change, DEI, forced "multi-culturalism" - all of these are religion. 100% religion, entirely faith based and against ALL evidence of efficacy. Anti-science at the core. Pure religion.
One of the major hallmarks of a religion is that you are not allowed to question PRECEPTS of the faith. Anyone who does so must be shouted down and publicly scourged.
We are driven by religious fervor NOW. And it is driving us right off the cliff.
If you find any scintilla of ye olde Christendom's zeitgeist more frightening than what we have now, then you either do not understand Christendom, or you do not understand what we are experiencing now. Or both.
What part of our CONSTITUTION is threatened (rather than salvaged) by Project 2025? That is the essential question. Because I can tell you that EVERY part of our Constitution is eroded, violated and ignored by what is going on right now.
Tell me, do you have a problem with the federal government bowing out of education? Has it done a fine job? Should we have it stay the course?
I would like for someone to tell me what about Project 2025 is not a good thing. I, too, have only seen the bullet points. I do not recall seeing anything I considered extreme.

The claim that the people who wrote it are "religious zealots" is only that - a claim. Anyone can call names.
I would say that my optimism is equally cautious - hence my request for input. As I stated, I've not read it. I've just seen the same bullet point that you've seen, and it does not appear that either of us were much put off by those bullet points.
When I make challenges, it isn't to rub people's faces in it. It's to have mine rubbed in it. I am always trying to learn. I'm not positional about Project 2025. I do want to become so, though.

Initial thoughts are that it appears to be mostly a project created by Christian Zionists
and is primarily domestic policy. I do not like these people and I do not respect them.
And I do not trust them.
A bit like Rat Face Ben...
I may agree with him on some domestic issues, but I abhor his arrogance and bloodlust on foreign policy. He is abhorrent.
