The Donald will sign 200 Executive Orders today......reversing a lot of damage that Biden created with failed policy and inept management.

Maybe a grace period would be wise wherein the incoming president can assess whether an executive order needs to be cosigned back into effect. Maybe a week or two...
Also limit the orders in some fashion. Total number or frequency... something.

Legal requirement to continue is that they must be re-signed and dated. Purposefully so.

EO's are how the administrative branch institutes the Legislation written by Congress and enacted into law. Sure, a lot of it seems like Presidential whims, which some are, but the fact is, Washington used them to direct his cabinet level offices to do the things Congress said to do in the laws passed.
To try to sunset them at the end of every President's term would require a lot of new bottlenecks in both Congress and the Administration so that NOTHING would ever happen and the nation would be totally paralyzed for months on end.
