Trump did not place hand on Bible for oath of office during his inauguration

President Trump did not place his hand on a stack of two Bibles held by first lady Melania Trump as he was sworn into office on Monday.Instead, Trump stood with his left arm down by his side as he raised his right hand for the oath of office.
Trump used both a family Bible and the so-called Lincoln Bible, which was sworn on by the 16th president in 1861 as well as Barack Obama in 2009 and 2013.
 
 

They were so far behind schedule, the Chief Justice didn't wait for his family to get in place around him before he started administering the oath. NBC said the oath was administered at 12:01. Besides, there is no requirement a Bible be used.

I understand why. That makes me unlike his character less and makes me think I have more in common with him than I do most people of typecast personalities.

I can get alone with any ancestor true to form. I can't get alone with persons staying in character come hell or high water.

God is the symbolic replacement for never accepting now is eternity as genetics sustain eternal separation of current population alive daily here and the intellectual mind(self awareness to personal location daily) gets called the eternal spirit in each soul.

If, by God, you mean acknowledgement of a power greater than yourself, I can see your reasoning.
If you mean a god as determined by some organization, I can't follow that train of thought.
