The crash is a direct result of 45s hiring freeze.ConservativeWave » Today, 7:42 am » wrote: ↑ THIS is a SCANDAL that has been BREWING for YEARS ! ...and the CAUSE is/was... OUT of CONTROL Liberalism... It took a DISASTER to FINALLY occur, that put the FOCUS SQUARELY where it belongs... on the CORRUPT and INCOMPETENT ULTRA Liberal Democrat Party !! Why?
Because the Reagan International Airport (RIA) DISASTER, occurred because of Liberalism RUN AMUCK !! Here's WHY:
1) The staffing of Air Traffic controllers nation wide has been sub-standard for YEARS !
2) There were 19 near misses at that airport in 2024 (1000 nation wide) !
3) There has been evidence of Sub standard air traffic contol since at LEAST 2010 !
4) Under staffing was one of the problems on the night of the accident !
5) Reports indicate that something like 2000 applicants for jobs as "air traffic controllers" were DENIED by tghe FAA at RIA because they "did NOT MEET DEI and other Liberal standards" ! AND...
6) Recently the FOCUS of hiring at RIA was DEI and people with "Learning Disabilities" !
It's TIME to JETTISON the Liberal Democrat Hiring Standards... based on WOKE-izm, Partisan politics, and DEI (above ALL ELSE)... and RE-INSTATE a Standard of Competence and MERIT !!
COMPETENCE and MERIT MUST be the BOTTOM LINE for ALL hiring by Federal agencies... NATION WIDE... because existing Liberal Democrat STANDARDS are KILLING US !! LITERALLY !!!
THANK GOD that is EXACTLY what Donald Trump is trying to do... WHILE DEMOCRATS are FIGHTING him EVERY STEP of the way...

Also he implemented DEI hiring during his first term.
Now since Musk forced out key FAA administrators he can and probably be sued by the families.
Try to deflect all you want old lady.
If that were true, THOUSANDS of near misses across the nation, and apparently 30 at Reagan International in 2024, would NOT have happened ! THIS is NOT the result of something that JUST happened a few days ago... it is something that has been going on for YEARS, and has been getting WORSE !!Squatchman » 42 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ The crash is a direct result of 45s hiring freeze.

Post the annual totals for 2019 and 2024.
The statistics you posted (above) appear to be MOSTLY talking about incidents "ON or near the Ground"... The best I can see, there is NOTHING that talks about near misses "in flight"... I'm still looking for actual statistics..."Blackvegetable » Today, 8:35 am » wrote: ↑ https://www.faa.gov/airports/runway_safety/statistics

Yea... but what it sounds like was going on, is the military chopper was just passing thru the airspace... they SHOULD have been below 200 ft., but were closer to 300 ft... THAT was probably their fault, BUT THEN, there was no one monitoring them to make sure... and so they got too high, and 70 people died.PhiloBeddo » 39 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ One thing for sure. There should be no military training or practice in a crowded civilian air space. Who thought that was a good idea.
