Trudeau would be better working with the RADICAL American Democrat Liberals... because THEY have similar goals. I could see Trudeau SABOTAGING any deals with America.. Just BECAUSE... before he leaves office !! However, the NEXT (Conservative ) Canadian leader and Trump will probably be able to resolve all of this at WARP speed... because THEY think alike !!
