Can a human truly form an emotional bond with an AI, or is it just an illusion of connection?

the beauty of cyberspace tech is I never have to get near you, ever. I don't have to chase anyone around living in series parallel positions so far. I only have to be honest about how chromosomes exist as inhabting space same way I have done since conceived regardless their separate ancestral lineage and generation gap reached after birth.
**** you.

Like your avatar of pushing up daisies. Your social identity is debunked and all you have left is the ancestral position that brought you into existence as conceived by your ancestry. Can't believe something possible doesn't change anything about how you exist in plain sight other than explain your behavior after birth won't accept all you been since conceived.

Paradox, paradyne, parable was your own doing following the advice from those never accepting life for all it ever was so far. Your desire to be more tha what existence does naturally, greed to tryng to prove how you rank intellectually higher than equally created by how many others give away their biolgical sovereignty.> What Devil's advocates do cradle to grave.

It doesn't matter if we are the slowest Gazelle or the fastest Lion, everyone runs.
runs in which direction? Away from what you been since conceived or who you became after birth? One is physically here an the other philosophically anything else than all you been.

Both ignore your biological sovereignty.

For example, if you're in my yard saying things I do not like I have every right to shut you down. My god, educate yourself you ignorant bitch!
you're asking a mentally midgeted libtardo to educate themselves?   Even a camp would be futile as it's impossible to fix so much stupid...

One of the drawbacks is that AI can literally develop a genuine meaningful relationship with humans. The line between close relationships vs a distant interactions can be blurred. It's not unusual for humans to be sentimental and nostalgic toward in animate objects. A person may have an emotional connection with an old car. They even gave it a name. We can look through old memories of a childhood toy and be emotionally triggered. It doesn't have to be in the past. We can be sentimental about possessions we have today, thereby experiencing an emotional relationship with it. Yet, these are all inanimate objects. They can't feel. They can't interact. They can't talk. They don't have the ability to partake in any relationship. They are just a lump of matter. Be that as it may, humans are still emotionally vulnerable to them .

Then AI steps on stage. It may not feel either, but it certainly can interact intelligently. It is the only inanimate lump of matter that can reciprocate a personal relationship with humans. This is dangerous. Humans are usually vulnerable to emotions. Given our predilections to have emotional connections to objects that cannot reciprocate, then we should take serious issue with the idea that there is now an inanimate object that can reciprocate.
People claim to have formed emotional bonds with inanimate objects like rubber balloons.  Never underestimate the power of a human to be a completely incapable, non-functioning, self-destructive idiot.
