.....complains the lefties.   But, what are they really crying about? If the Trump administration succeeds in shutting down the federal United States Agency for International Development, known globally as USAID, state colleges and universities will lose hundreds of millions of dollars in annual research funding.Research funding that goes for projects like sending state university professors to things like an agricultural park in Cambodia.

State universities rely on research grants from USAID, to pay for professors to go on useless, worthless trips to non-relevant nations for non-relevant research.

Ironically..some of that research money went to studying the feeding habits of BLACK LEACHES......

Stopping the sugar gravy so fast can cause death.  You gotta wean of some medications and we have been eating it for 50 years.  I see no promises Trumpocalypse is just the same old drug but much uglier.

The thing spins around in the economy like an AR-15 round. I am no economist. But even I see a shytload of potential bad outcomes from the policy.

For one thing, It sounds like some college professors will have to figure out how to make coffee instead of starbucking it every day.

No plans to. I am all for raising the retirement age to 87.. I need the money.

At least my friends Social Security Check didn't get DOGE'd. I figured we were on the the Do Not Pay List and could suffer like the children in Sudan

You make a point. Yes, many, many so-called "educated" people will be left without a job, without a bureaucratic purpose in life. They will not be teaching Justice In African Studies to a class of 3 students or doing research visiting Gabon to statistically quantify how many of their "free condoms" get used by Gabon homosexuals. 

Going back to picking cotton and tomatoes, or shining shoes is not a likely something they will embrace.  They will be very upset about losing these "special" DEI jobs, jobs which they trained for in woke schools, and paid for with government loans they can't pay back.

Yes, the unemployed/unemployable bureaucratic-class may become the new proletariat, and they will demand change.  Marxist change. They will attempt to start a violent Marxist revolution.  Are you ready for this?  I think I am.
