First off, I am a sole result of genetic combinations alive today, not an intellectual soul following the 7days a week mantra life exceeds physically adapting to the moment here each heartbeat beating in series parallel positions alive now.

I got about a third of the way through. May go after a bit more.

One of the speculations is that the very existence of the universe itself depends on man's awareness.
If we didn't exist, then neither would the universe.
I couldn't disagree more.

We may actually be the single speck of life in the entire limitless universe.
That's a very biocentric viewpoint. But I'd allow for that in my philosophy.
Of course there is no evidence for that at all. Just as we (so far) have no evidence to the contrary.

I admit I only got through three minutes before Mrs said NOPE!  But I have been hearing the phrase Quantum Immortality more and more.  If we are already immortal it's going to be a monkey wrench brain surgery blow to  Islamic-Christian- Judeo  Triangle of Doom.

Yeah I am with you on the consciousness required for the universe to exist.  Zero is Zero and Pi is Pi if nothing else exists.  Math does not require a consciousness to exist. It does need one to understand it.

If our souls are immortal and ONE slip up dooms us to hell for eternity, then we're all going to hell eventually.
For sure after a couple hundred "lives", one is bound to be a complete asshole (we're all sinners, ya know).

thank you for your perfeted example how mind over matter philosophies has not only corrupted my own ancestry, but yours as well. I figured it inside out 18 years ago, I resigned from being a pawn in hope, faith, charity in 1982, but my brain was always aware there is no tomorrow 7 days a week and if I don't follow social consensus, I have no change surviving humanity daily being the psychological prey from my own species.

I have lived through how humanity created an Eternal Hell by rule of law last 73 years. Serenity has always kept my rage controlled by my sarcasm venting out at people pretending character counts and geneders are just host to superior intellectual minds eternally existing waiting for a body to inhabit cradle to grave before moving into the next sole(great great grandchild born) educated to believe now isn't eternity.
