Anyone watch that? Hockey is the only real sport worth watching these days. Those guys will play even if a limb was severed. They are tough. The NFL has turned into a field of weaklings, the refs are paid off. Basketball players start crying if they even touch each other. Soccer players will cry just for the sake of crying. 

I am hearing a lot of different stories as to why this happened. Some say the USA was responding the Canadian crowd booing the national anthem. So they beat the **** out of the Canadian players for it...the whole damn game. Some say it was already planned ahead of time. Some say it wasn't planned, it was all organic. Some say it was the US sending a message to Canada that this is the US's time now. 

Whatever the reason, it shows that hockey isn't for the weak.

This isn't the first time. The fans of Canadian teams have booed our national anthem several times this year. Maybe it finally came to a boil and the USA team decided to finally stick their boos up their ***.

I don't follow hockey but I remember when the NHL had a player named SATAN.....  .
whenever he made a goal the announcer would yell...."SATAN SCOOOOORES...!!!"....

I also remember when hockey players would have their teeth pulled by dentists ahead of time instead of waiting for their teeth to get knocked out on the ice.

With a name like Gump Worsely.....you would expect the man to be pretty fearless. This was the NHL...not some church league.

the running joke in MN is "I went to a fight last night and a hockey game broke out..."

I remember the Bruins (fitting) after a long drought, were playing game 7 of the cup...one defenseman played with a broken collar bone and a bunch of bruised ribs...he was one tough monkey and they won the Cup!

Well there was an east coast landing approach that spooked the **** out of me one day.

Oh yeah, been there...in a big bird once where it was crabbing so heavily on landing, I swore the tip of the wing hit the runway...
