After reading about Donald Trump’s plans to name himself chair of the Kennedy Center, I wondered how long it would be before he renamed it the Donald J. Trump Center for the Performing Arts, and how long before he replaced the bust of John F. Kennedy with a new beautiful sculpture of himself.

But mostly, I thought: “Surely, the president of the United States and supposed leader of the free world has more important things to do than scheduling performances at a D.C. arts center.”

After reading about Donald Trump’s plans to name himself chair of the Kennedy Center, I wondered how long it would be before he renamed it the Donald J. Trump Center for the Performing Arts, and how long before he replaced the bust of John F. Kennedy with a new beautiful sculpture of himself.
