Another left leaning rag article hiding behind a pay wall...no thanks.  Besides, I couldn't care less if an non-governmental group has outdated numbers and mistakes.

As for the article from two years ago, since Aberdeen is in another country, I am not familiar with the acceptable methods of valuing real estate there.  I do know, however, no bank on earth is going to provide funding without doing their own due diligence on the value of everything used as collateral.  Besides, the article is dated NINE YEARS after the statements were provided.  Wonder when The Guardian is going to start reporting on things happening in this decade?
