Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak says Tesla ‘is the worst in the world’ at improving its technology for driversApple cofounder Steve Wozniak was once bullish on Tesla—a decade ago, the early adopter waxed rhapsodic about loving his Model S “the most of all our cars—ever.”But Wozniak has soured on Tesla and CEO Elon Musk after a series of changes to Tesla’s interiors he said degraded the driving experience.“Coming from Apple, the user interface, the way you deal with technology, is the most important thing in the world to me,” Wozniak said in an interview with CNBC Wednesday. “And Tesla is the worst in the world at that.”“Every step up, where they changed a thing in the car, it got worse and worse and worse. And now it is just miserable for user interface,” he continued. What makes it miserable, according to Wozniak, is the system’s constant changes.“Where to find the time of day changes depending on what [driving] mode you’re in,” he said. “The buttons that go through your six favorite channels don’t work if it’s satellite radio channels. It takes so many tries to hit one button in your jiggly car, and it just doesn’t work.”
- Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak says a software’s user interface is “the most important thing”—and on that metric, Tesla fails miserably. An early Tesla adopter, Wozniak has since soured on the carmaker and CEO Elon Musk after a number of software changes he says destroyed the driving experience. Wozniak detailed his complaints in a recent interview.

Tesla was just the first to break in that market, but they suck. Poor quality products don't deserve to prosper. Period.

The $6K FSD package never worked.
Wozniak is right. Tesla has not kept up with making more desirable cars. Teslas all still have the sparse interior and a stupid Ipad glued to the dash. Their exterior isn't much to look at either. They should out-source their interiors to Mercedes. Mercedes makes the best automotive interiors.Vegas » 07 Mar 2025, 11:42 am » wrote: ↑ Tesla has never really made great cars. The typical electric SUV outweighs it's fossil fuel powered counterpart by 50%Vegas » 07 Mar 2025, 11:42 am » wrote: ↑ Tesla has never really made great cars. Brakes, tires, steering and suspension wear out faster.
Roads wear out faster
Impact inertia is greater at all speeds
The environmental impact of these factors are never included whenever a brainwashed Liberal mindlessly recites all the benefits of going electric.
Based on the chart in front of me, it will go parabolic in 2026 before finally crashing below $100Vegas » 07 Mar 2025, 3:32 pm » wrote: ↑ Tesla's is a wild and unpredictable stock. It's not uncommon for it to have major swings. However, I think this time they are going to have a much harder time recovering. After a while, their product is going to speak for itself regardless of propaganda and hype. Their product just isn't good. Products in America need to keep up with the times. There is no room to fall behind.
