Eggs were $5.99 a dozen grade a large at Pick & Save.
And Inflation still running hot.
But I shall give ya this Gas was down $2.739 a gallon for regular 87.
Still too high but was almost $3 a gallon last time I filled up so thats a start I guess
Actually, inflation is DOWN considerably, and is now at 1.3%, already lower than at any time during Biden's horrible 4 years, after less than 2 months of the Trump presidency!
And with gas prices already heading lower (thanks to Trump taking the handcuffs off the oil industry), the only talking point we'll hear ignorant Democrats screaming about now are that egg prices are still very high, but that will change dramatically in just a few weeks when the chicks that were allowed to hatch rather then be sold as eggs grow to maturity and quickly begin to replace the 100 million chickens that Biden had killed just a week before Trump took office, and start laying eggs again.
I have no doubt that Democrats are scratching their heads trying to figure out what's left for them to cry about as the Trump economy begins to skyrocket! And since they can't figure out how to stop Trump, they turn to infighting and attacking each other. Chucky Schumer will be trying to hold on to his seat as minority leader in the Senate just as fellow Democrats are pushing AOC to primary him in next year's election!
Wouldn't THAT be delightful for Republicans; having the dumbest politician in American history to laugh at every damn day of Trump's 4 years!
Inflation Plummeting, New Data Shows
Newsweek Published Mar 12, 2025
New data suggests a notable deceleration in the U.S. inflation rate, potentially offering some relief to both consumers and policymakers. According to
Truflation, a blockchain-based provider of real-time economic data, inflation has slowed to around 1.3 percent, having dropped to below the 1.5 percent mark at the start of March. By Truflation's readings, these are the lowest levels inflation has reached since December 2020. It peaked at over 11.5 percent in June 2022.

CNN - New York Rep.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Thursday that she plans to mobilize her massive base of followers to oppose what she described as an “acquiesce” by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to
accept the House GOP funding bill.“I think there is a deep sense of outrage and betrayal,” Ocasio-Cortez told reporters in Leesburg, Virginia, where House Democrats are huddling for their annual policy retreat. She said she and her fellow Democrats are “texting, calling, sending carrier pigeons,” to mobilize the Democratic base against Schumer’s plan to allow the
GOP funding bill to advance. And she slammed Senate Democrats for their decision to “completely roll over and give up on protecting the Constitution.”
