U.S. Ukrainian support is ALREADY turned back on, and so is U.S. military intelligence, NATO has committed 800 Billion Euros to the fight against Russia, America looks like they will be tightening sanctions again against russia... AND, don't be surprised if NATO actually takes action against Russia in Ukraine, and against the Russian lines. Russia has been fought to a standstill by a lesser Ukraine military, and even WITHOUT the best Western weapons on the field... I think if Russia doesn't move FAST to end this thing... THEY will TOTALLY regret it in VERY short order... because Trump WILL NOT want it to let this thing drag on !
If NATO authorizes air support... which after North Korea has been actively supporting Russia for MONTHS now... NATO has a definite argument to do so ! If that happens (even without NATO boots on the ground)... Ukraine WILL have air superiority within hours, and IF they start directly bombing key Russian positions? Ukraine forces could be pushing into Russian occupied Ukrainian territory within days, and Russia could be in FULL retreat withing weeks. I don't think the USA will get directly involved itself... HOWEVER, it will be an opportunity for EUROPE to stand up for EUROPE, in EUROPE... and based on what I've seen from the Russian military, THEY don't belong in the same conversation as NATO ! SO, when Russia is pushed OUT of Ukraine and Crimea... THEN the Russia will have another chance for Peace... BUT, it won't be ANYWHERE as good of an offer, as it COULD have had...
I'd say Putin has a week (or less) to decide !!

No, they are making progress in taking back the Russian territory that Ukraine took last year, and have been making some spotty progress along the front line.. but, Kiev and most of Ukraine is not under threat.. as I understand it. SOME of that might be because of the support pause by the U.S., that has now been retracted.
The Russian army is a shell... NATO air superiority would completely turn the tide.. BUT, European NATO countries would have to buy into it !!

That said... I don't think Russia is serious in making peace... and if Europe & the rest of NATO is willing to take the next step, Russia needs a bloody nose! A bloody nose in order to:
1) Get snapped back to reality that THEY are not the great military they THINK they are !
2) LOSE ground up and down the front line, which air superiority would enable ! and
3) Get the Russian army into a general RETREAT... IMHO... ONLY THEN would Russia seriously be interested in Peace !
