I am registered to vote in the Republican Primary in MD.. Primaries are closed and all party affiliation ends upon participation in that process.  I wish we had multi party rank choice voting.  Independents have zero input into the final choices.

My former Governor Larry Hogan introduced me to what shreds of Republican Integrity still existed. I voted for him registered dem for his first term.  I gained respect for his ability to try and balance the differential equations of divisive dysfunctionality.  The Primary that year as a dem revealed the pattern that dems run pick one of one choice and their primary here in Maryland is pretty useless. I agree with policy of fiscal conservatism and he represented urgency to accomplish it.

I threw every Nikki Haley lever I could at MAGA along with 1 out of every 10 republican voters here in MD who refused to lick the balls in 2024. Not that she would have been a good choice, but what we have , quite frankly,  sucks.

I also am disappointed in the "vote blue no matter who" folks.  But these folks who gag in felonatio with the dumb thug are nauseating.

EVEN DEMOCRAT CALIFORNIA GOV GERRY BROWN VETOED A BILL TO EXPAND RANKED CHOICE VOTING. 
HE SAID IT WAS OVERLY COMPLICATED AND CONFUSING DEPRIVING VOTERS OF GENUINELY INFORMED CHOICE. HE WENT ON TO SAY SUCH A SYSTEM WOULD PRESENT MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO RIG THE ELECTORAL SYSTEM. 
CAMPAIGN FINANCE LAWS MAKES MORE SENSE
