It does fire mini-rockets. It was not designed as a shark gun.  As I recall (from memory) It was actually in limited use in the Vietnam war. It was rather quiet, little recoil, but had the reverse velocities of a traditional firearm.  The round would start out relatively slow and then speed up to become lethal as it approached the target. Accuracy wasn't all that great either.

Now I agree the MBA Gyro Jet is an "ugly mofo".  But, the Borchardt C-93?  Are you kidding me?  It is one of the first semi-autos ever invented and quite elegant.  You sir, have questionable taste in firearms.  In fact, this is perhaps the most offensive thing you've ever said on this forum.
