I'd do whatever she wants me to do to her to get a Borchardt C-93. I'll be her personal sex-slave for a day. I'm sure this will mean a lot of stupid cuddling and groveling, and no real bumping-the-uglies anyway. Might even take half a day to find the right hole. And, when I do find it, she probably uses it to store her favorite Lego pieces.
Early 1900's Swiss Luger - notice the perrrrty dished toggles!!!
It is nice...those all from your personal collection?Skans » 26 Mar 2025, 7:44 am » wrote: ↑ Early 1900's Swiss Luger - notice the perrrrty dished toggles!!!
Oh, no. The 1900's Luger is a gun I've been trying to acquire for years now. It's got to be the right one, but when I find the right one they always go for more than what I'm willing to pay.
The only way to look at it is think of all the money you've saved...Skans » 26 Mar 2025, 11:03 am » wrote: ↑ Oh, no. The 1900's Luger is a gun I've been trying to acquire for years now. It's got to be the right one, but when I find the right one they always go for more than what I'm willing to pay.
And, the Borchardt C-93 another gun I once tried to acquire. When I first became aware of it, they were going for about $6,500. I even bid up to $5,000 on one once at Rock Island Auction - I was outbid by $6K on that one; never stood a chance. The Gun Jesus (Ian McCollum) was working that auction and showed me the Borchardt, as well as a prized Nazi Luger that belonged to someone pretty high up in the SS - forgot who. Well, he got me to bid the Borchardt up a little. Now a good one can't be found for under $20,000.
I also got out-bid at that auction on 2 First Gen Colt SAA 45's. But, I did end up taking home a really trick, custom STI 2011. Great shooter!
While the MBA Gyrojet is interesting, I never really liked them. I've handled a few and they look and feel like cheap cast-aluminum toys. The Chinese bullpup - that was the only gun I could find that started with Q.
You know........I think I'll do that. I could still probably afford one of those Lugers, but in reality, the Borchardt is simply out of range. Thanks Rog!!!ROG62 » 26 Mar 2025, 12:47 pm » wrote: ↑ The only way to look at it is think of all the money you've saved...it's what I do...

Nice selfie.
At least what you prize exists. There are two things I wanted in this life. One was an honest woman. Just that - just an honest woman. Who is a ten. And a pharmacist. And crazy about me.Skans » 26 Mar 2025, 11:03 am » wrote: ↑ Oh, no. The 1900's Luger is a gun I've been trying to acquire for years now. I heard a rumor that one of those guys - I think it was the cowboy? not sure? - is gay.
Rumor has it Prince was gay-curious - possibly outright bisexual. Like Rod Stewart.JohnnyYou » 25 Mar 2025, 7:39 pm » wrote: ↑ Threesome Like It's 1999..
