Why is it "ok" to give Unions the power to organize labor to utilize thug tactics to force businesses into agreements they don't want, but ok to do this to government?

I'm tired of the double standard.  Government hires workers.  Businesses hire workers.  Make the laws and rules the same for all

Same goes for the Lottery.  Either allow private Lotteries or outlaw all Lotteries. No more of this "good for the government; illegal for private people".

It dates back to the **** working conditions of US Postal Workers..but instead of simply passing acts to improve their conditions they were [wrongfully / stupidly] allowed to unionize.

They used to make postal workers work without regard to snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these post office guys from the fairly lackadaisical completion of their mail route.

Not anymore since the union got in

Why should "government" get a break when it comes to Unions, but not private businesses?  Governments are the most corrupt entities inside the 4 corners of the United States.

That is something I have never seen or heard of.
If true I don't support that..
That's just as un-American as being forced to hire Blacks if I don't want to.

to stay alive unions have turned into organized crime operations using another organized crime operation for protection...(Big Progressive Government)

pay to play....extortion type scams...you want a job you pay us to get it

Is the correct word passed instead of past?

has passed vs existed in the past.

Past is a noun of time, passed is a verb about an event.

No, Businesses can hire non-union workers.  But, the Union still controls the situation with larger businesses.  And, Unions are always sending in their **** little Communist assholes into smaller businesses to force try and force them to become unionized. I would like to see Business owners form a collective to take these trouble makers out to a desert somewhere and introduce them to the art of making sand castles.

Usually it's someone on the Union out of work list who is willing to work for scab wages and reduced benefits...[that the Union replaces the difference of]
The idea is for the Union Guy to show up ready to work and to put his best foot forward as a "Model of Productivity and Skill"
That's the way it is supposed to work in theory.

Different scenario.  I was working out at the gym years ago - new guy from Rhode Island, comes in with his thick Yankee accent.  Anyway, he strikes up a conversation with me, I was cordial to him and he thinks I'm his friend. Maybe I was. Every day, he shows up at the gym, wanting to work out with me, and loudly complaining how the company he's working for isn't unionized, spouting off a bunch of **** about how Unions train people etc. I tried to nicely tell him "buddy, you need to pipe down and just do your work - no one where you work wants to hear about Unions, this isn't up North."  Well, he got fired within a month.  After that, he unsuccessfully looked for a job for about a month and then winded up moving back north.  He was a real thick-headed SOB.

I've worked both sides.
The Non Union Contractors are the ones who are 99.99 percent most likely to hire Illegal aliens when the opportunity arises.

I'm not for that either.  I'm for harsh penalties for hiring illegal aliens.  We shouldn't even have to have a conversation about that.
 

Politicians negotiating contracts with unions that donate to the same politicians is corrupt. Kickbacks are a real problem. Higher waged equal more taxes. WTF. Stop the corruption.
