Kelsey Haberly worked for Michael Waltz as his "scheduler" when Waltz was in Congress.  It is likely that Waltz retained Haberly as his scheduler while working for the Trump Administration as the National Security Advisor.  The staff scheduler would be the one to have access to Waltzes phone and to make sure his contacts are kept up to date.

The Trump Administration has already said it was a staffer who was responsible for adding the reporter, Jeffery Goldberg, to Waltz's contacts. They are not saying at this time who this staffer is.  However, from what I can tell, it may very well be Kelsey Haberly. Haberly, or the staffer if it is not her, should be investigated by the FBI and all of his accounts and records locked. 

Either this was a mistake, or Waltz has a snitch in the woodpile. Here's Haberly's profile from July 26, 2024:

So far, Waltz has taken the blame.  I think it goes deeper than that.  I think we should at least know how this mistake was made.  And, at the very least, how did a leftist-reporter's phone number make it into Michael Waltz' contacts.

who the hell knows...I think it was a set up...they need to put it to bed cuz I don't know for how much longer the left can handle feigning outrage...

while I believe the open dialogue is welcome, they should have left it when Trump said, "a mistake was made and we're looking at improving on it"...

my thoughts again go back to Goldberg for not immediately contacting the State Department and letting them know what he received and burying it like they were so good at during joe's administration....

The party that excused Hillary for DELIBERATELY using her private server to cover her tracks sure is mighty upset about a security breach  that looks like sabotage here.
