Have you noticed that the majority of “protestors” these days are people older than 45?

In the past, protests (e.g. 1960s, 2008-2010) were mostly students and people below the age of 30.

Recently, there was a “protest” against Zion Don the Con b/c…wait for it, his tariff announcements sparked a selloff in the stock market 

     

Is it just older Gen X and Boomers with upper middle class (BOURGEOIS) backgrounds who are protesting? 

Like WTF!!

People under 25 seem completely checked out / spiritually and mentally crushed by the TRIUMVIRATE OF SLAVERY!!

First, I agree with your observation of a lot of older folks are "protesting".
As far as being "checked out", I think they are as checked out as the younger folks you mentioned.

The model over the last few years has been protest and cancel . . . something. Show dissatisfaction.

The last 2 major protests that come to mind are Occupy Wall St (both the left wing and right wing versions, where the left wing protested wealth inequality and the right wing protested Wall St handouts) and the Iraq War protests.

I'm just patiently waiting for the financial system to collapse. So it's not a big deal to me. 

I do think the 18-30 crowd is going to be very angry when they have to compete with 400 applicants for every low paying waGie SlaVie position in a couple years, if they aren't already.
