I have no effing clue how the tariffs are going to help. All Trumpocalypse says is it'll work. There is no explanation of any of the wrongs and the mechanisms of the correction.
My limited knowledge of tariffs is that they don't work (Proven by The Smoot Hawley Tariff acts in the 1930's which prolonged the great depression. Used correctly, they can be a benefit. Used incorrectly as we see now there will likely be some very challenging outcomes. They are a financial mechanism above my capability to grasp. I am incapable of arguing against Trump's policies any more than an atheist can prove God does not exist. I am sure in a few months the lightbulb will come on and promptly shatter into bits.

This pooped up on SM today. Before Nitrogen Synthesis was created, Bat Guano was all the fertilizer we had. It was a huge industry, Then Franz Haber made dynamite for Hitler. Fed Billions, Killed Millions. So maybe the penguin poop has value.
