I was born by the beltway at the implementation of civil rights.  There are quite a few of us who grew up in the promise of freedom and rule of law in the baby boomer liberal beltway bubble.

I don't know where Alito and Thomas were born, but judging by their judgements today it was pretty close to hell.

Under Tim Walz’s leadership, public safety in Minnesota has collapsed. Violent crime has surged — Minneapolis saw 79 homicides last year, up nearly 160 percent since 2019
