China's got tons of problems

They've said their production is way out of whack...over producing

Now they've lost their best customer....the US

We can't be replaced...we are the world's "Big Dick" when it comes to consumption

The only way China get's the US back as a customer is to suck that "big dick" and they better smile when they do it

The idea is for our society to once again be 100 percent self sufficient.

but it is gonna take years and years to build the facilities to manufacture goods here

it can’t be done overnight 

so the middle class will take the brunt of the pain for those years

then

you have to hire people to make TVs, phones, computers, appliances and clothing at a decent wage

you think it is going to be easy to get American back into sweat shops without good pay?

so the prices for everything is going to go through the roof

world trade is important to keep prices down

Agreed. At least, to some of this.  It took DECADES to get where we are now.
Huge plants shuttered. The Gary, Indiana syndrome.
Most of that was the lure of cheaper, not better, products. People don't seem to realize that the Chinese merely build what is asked of them. You want a cheap copy? That's what they build. You want higher quality stuff? Sure. How's the contract written and how much money is involved?

Generations of that sloth in the U.S. has caved in the work ethic here.
We need a depression and a huge war to kill off some of this attitude.
