Colonel Henry Potter was aging out been in the service for most his life but he had knack and knew how to draw a hard line when necessarry and back it up.

I am against forcing people to surrender their sovereignty.
Bribing them to do it...OK
I doubt Greenland wants to be made into a Ground Zero Target once SHTF and that's what will happen if they allow us to turn their land into a huge Missile Ranch.
If we can convince Greenland that there are worse scenarios...[like being conquered by Russia or China]...then that's the way to go.

Our military been there since the "Cold War" with former Soviet Russia.

Now the "Sovereingty" part Donald Trump just wants it say we gonna just take it.

I think the deal could be made but we have to offer its population full citizenship and access to benefits the "Safety Net" and funding.

But thats a whole another nut to crack

I think ultimately we will just continue working with them once cooler heads prevail

That was Corporal Klinger and wasnt really a tranny just bucking for a Sec 8 discharge by wearing dresses.

Late in the series he got a promotion under Potters blessing and started wearing army greens too and taking his job seriously
