we started losing the country to Progressivism once the women got the vote

My Dad and Grandfather mostly supported the household on their paycheck sure maybe my mom and grandma got a part time job during a layoff or for something to do as a hobby.
Today thats impossible mom can just stay home and raise the family for most households or we need to radically need rethink costs and money

We put way too much extra crap on them instead of just sticking to the basics and yes people expect all the fancy extras too couldnt contemplate life without them.
Add easy credit to the mix everybody gets a loan and here we are.
