MTG filed reports suggesting large stock purchases on April 3rd and 4th.

Apple closed at $203 on April 3rd. As of today Apple is still below her (first) entry price.

I can't make it thru her speech because she spoke like she was lecturing to 5th grade kiddies 

But I have to admit the sheer # of her supporters in Boise, Idaho is quite the spectacle...

I had no idea there were that many idiots in Boise!

Considering the top 10% own 88-90% of all stocks, you would think AOC would be applauding the downturn and reducing the wealth gap. Isn't that what these **** Democratic Socialist want?

The more her name gets thrown around as a candidate, we can expect plenty of stupid to go along with it.

Schiff brought the spin on the insider trading to the floor and now it has disappeared.   Democrats are guilty of the same is all I can guess.

You only lose money if you sell, otherwise the value of a stock is a constant moving target.

For all we know, every single stock that has been sold the last 2 weeks was sold at a profit.

We sold a chunk and moved to safety and am quite sure there was profit there considering that money has been sitting there for years.

well, not to underestimate the savvy investor, many panic in the face of ultimate doom...you know, like end of world type thingies such as tariffs....  

You'll be sure to find out come tax time...   although long term isn't as bad...

like a businessman buddy once told me, "if you're paying taxes, you're showing too much of your hand"....

There is a website "SPY" that is popular with traders.  Traffic on the site increased 10X above normal 10 minutes before Trump made the announcement that Mr won't back down was..  The content  of the traffic is not accessible to the public.

Somehow I see Martha Stewart with a big glass of wine and laughing her *** off all day lately.

The troubling thing is Schiff brought it to the floor and now it is gone.  Dems are in on the scandal too and so there will be zero investigation and corrective action.

No gold. Just moved 15% of equities into several bond funds. Boring stuff while whatever happens plays out.

I've read several articles about people who pulled all their money out before Trump even became president.

No tax hit on this move, just reallocated.

I've resigned to paying quarterly estimated taxes to keep the IRS at bay. I sucked at setting up some tax free income. Retirement income is well into the 22% bracket, great for the wallet, not so great come tax time.
