Harvard......the school that is paying $900,000.00 a year to a black plagiarizing ex-president......that Harvard?Blackvegetable » Yesterday, 6:58 am » wrote: ↑ On Friday, the New York Times reported that two Trump administration sources said an April 11 letter signed by three federal officials to Harvard President Alan Garber was “unauthorized” and should not have been sent.
The letter demanded the Massachusetts university come under government oversight and make changes related to student and faculty conduct, admissions, alleged antisemitism on campus and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs.
Harvard on Saturday pushed back on the assertion that the letter was sent in error, pointing out that the Trump administration had “doubled down” on its threats. After Harvard refused to comply with the letter’s demands, the Trump administration froze $2.2 billion in federal funding to the university and threatened to revoke its tax-exempt status.
TAKE A MOMENT AND APPRECIATE THE UNDERSTATED RESPONSE.
“It remains unclear to us exactly what, among the government’s recent words and deeds, were mistakes or what the government actually meant to do and say,” the university said Saturday in a statement to The Washington Post....
The White House did not respond to requests for comment, but a senior official there told the Times that the administration stood by the letter. White House senior policy strategist May Mailman said the turmoil over Harvard publicly rejecting the administration’s demands was overblown, and she faulted university leaders for not continuing discussions they had been having for weeks with the White House’s antisemitism task force.
NATCH!
“It was malpractice on the side of Harvard’s lawyers not to pick up the phone and call the members of the antisemitism task force who they had been talking to for weeks,” Mailman said, according to the Times. “Instead, Harvard went on a victimhood campaign.”

I highlight, but prefer not to dwell on, the idea of the White House managing the affairs of a Private University to demonstrate the rock ribbed faith of MAGA in the wonders of a strong centralized federal government managing all facets of our daily lives - with a particular focus on Education and Culture. Preferably under the direction of photogenic bottle blondes.....who attended Harvard Law School as "diversity" selections.

He made a show of trying to make Zelensky beg.....to curry favor with Pootie....who cucked him, again.
The S&P is flopping around near 5,000 because Grifty insists the Chinese have to come to him.
Harvard has to reach out to soothe Grifty's feathers, ruffled entirely by his own incontinent idiocy.

A full paragraph buffet of snark, flair, and thesaurus-fueled fury. You are feeling bold today—dropping phrases like “photogenic bottle blondes,” and the other lame **** like you are trying to win a Pulitzer for Creative Derailment. Dodge 119 coming up.If freezing Harvard’s funding and threatening its tax-exempt status was justified, what specific legal framework do you believe supports the federal government directly managing a private university’s internal policies—without violating the First Amendment or principles of institutional autonomy?
