A recent toxic algae bloom, possibly linked to wildfire runoff, has sickened numerous sea lions and dolphins in Southern California. The bloom is producing domoic acid, a neurotoxin that accumulates in small fish and then in marine mammals that eat them. While the bloom itself isn't caused directly by the fires, the runoff from wildfires may contribute to the size and intensity of the bloom by providing additional nutrients and stirred-up sedimen

The wild fires would not have caused nearly as much damage if
Trump had been governor of California long enough to see to it that
reservoirs got built,
no DEI Bull Dykes or Minorities were put in charge of anything related to Public Safety unless they were the most qualified
captured Illegal Aliens were formed up into Chain Gangs to keep the nearby National Forests clear of combustibles
if homeowners were encouraged to have 10,000 gallon below ground cisterns or else swimming pools with gasoline powered water pumps to keep their homes safe.
In fact an auxilliary water pump could be directly driven by the family car if you put any Trump Supporting White Man with basic metal working skills in charge of getting that done.

Democrats are the worst thing for the environment EVER. They stalled the Keystone XL until it became untenable - leaving Warren Buffet's railroad the only way to haul the Bakken crude. The Bakken crude is very dirty and the BNSF is very rickety and the track record of the BNSF regarding people killed and habitat destroyed is extremely bad.
